How much would it cost to end world hunger?
It is estimated that it would cost ~30 billion dollars a year to end world hunger. To my knowledge there is no detailed plan available online to how this would be achieved.
Yet by setting up better food saving strategies around the world to decrease wastefulness, and allocating more resources to local production of food, while providing surplus food to those in need it should be an easily achieved venture.
It is though hypothesised that only 10 billion humans can survive on Earth at one period in time. This number however may possibly be expanded by new techniques in the production, and transport of food. Even with the possibility that we may be capable of increasing the number humans capable of living on Earth. This upper limit that is hypothesised is still of due importance because of our current population’s expansion.
