Why I Love Hemp Seeds.

My love of hemp seep is a new love, but what a love I think is going to be a long lasting one, due to many reasons.

Hemp Seeds are Delicious.

One of the great thing about hemp seeds are they make an awesome snack anytime of the day. They are not only light, crunchy, and packed full of great nutritional, but make a great simple snack. These Amazing little seeds make not just a great simple snack easy to eat on your own without having to cook or anything else, but are also great to use in complex dishes as well. My favorite is hemp seeds poured on fruit covered in completely all natural peanut butter, and honey.

Hemp Seeds Are Nutritional Powerhouses.

Hemp seeds aren’t just a great snack because their delicious, but because they’re great for you too. Hemp seeds are considered a super food, high in protein, high in fiber, easily digestible, and full of healthy fats, it’s really hard to go wrong with hemp seeds. Their balance of oils and proteins make them a perfect snack anytime of the day. Hemp seeds are also high in magnesium, a mineral that helps with relaxation, blood sugar control, blood pressure, and potentially osteoporosis.

Hemp Seeds Are Great For Vegans and Vegetarians

While not a vegan or vegetarian myself I believe that our current diet consists of way too much meat and meat products. As many will tell you too many meat and dairy products can cause cancer, especially colon cancer. It’s known that limiting your intake decreases cancer risks and helps optimize your health. Eating a primarily plant based diet helps maintain healthy weight, helps alleviate high blood pressure, decreases inflammation, and decreases the likelihood of getting age related conditions and diseases. Because Hemp seeds are high in protein and a complete protein, their a great staple food for vegans and vegetarians, or for cyclic dieting.

Hemp Seeds Are Great For The Environment.

Hemp seeds are also great for the environment. This is not due to the seeds themselves, but because they support the development of hemp itself. Hemp has thousands of uses at a fraction of the environmental costs of current uses. Hemp can be sustainable grown fast, and dependably in ideal environments. You’ll commonly see hemp shirts, lotions, paper, and variety of other consumer products. Hemp is more eco-friendly then cutting down trees, growing cotton, and growing many other industrial plants. By supporting the growth of hemp your supporting the growth of a plant that is preserving our environment, helping cut down carbon emissions, and helping rebuild communities around the world .
